What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The reward of seeing the kids' faces light up when something clicks. Being able to share knowledge and potentially influence their future career paths and choices based on my tutoring/teaching. Creating a connection with the kids.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Attempting to adapt content to helped each individual student gain a better understanding (changing explanations depending on student). If I don't know how to solve something at first relating that information back to the student rather than giving a 'bad' solution to a problem.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Understanding the different needs each student has and adapting according to needs and being able to admit to not knowing things. These help show a unique way of thinking as well as adaptability and establishing that tutors are also human beings who may not understand everything the first time around. It helps to humanize and create a better connection with the students.
