From many years of babysitting and nannying I have discovered that I not only engage very well with children of all ages and demographics, but I am also able to tailor information to effectively communicate at their levels. I have taken teaching units at university and genuinely enjoy teaching, and I am efficient at communicating in teacher/student environments.

Tutoring is a form of specialised teaching, and two-way communication is fundamental to successful teaching. It is easy to talk at a child to teach them a concept on a basic level, but patience, asking the child questions and listening to their responses effectively are essential elements in ensuring the student understands the content.
