My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strength as a tutor is my patience and the understanding I’ve gained from having experienced difficulties with my own studies. I believe these traits will allow me to observe and cater to individual student needs. I also have a positive and proactive approach to problem solving which I believe will contribute to the student’s confidence to ask questions and voice their problems. I think this is important in troubleshooting the difficulties they are having with the subject.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A very important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them gain the confidence and ability to independently accelerate their own studies. As a math tutor I hope to do that by motivating the mathematical concepts they are currently learning whilst filling in the prerequisite knowledge they need. From this I hope they gain confidence and interest in the subject to keep moving forward as they start to be up to date with their classroom learning. I also hope that they develop their own approach to problem solving that they can apply to other subjects as well.
