What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because the satisfaction of seeing someone understand fundamental mathematics concepts is great. I make sure to teach students the basics so that they understand the concepts and not just the application. It is important to teach students "how to think" rather than "what to think".

I am extremely patient and enjoy spending time with children. I believe in instilling confidence and eagerness to learn, rather than encouraging performance based learning. I have had experience handling unruly students, and know my way around these situations as well.

A tutor can improve confidence, help students speak up, learn about a subject and enjoy the learning process. A tutor can also be a mentor who changes the career path of students so I believe that it is crucial to remain in a good mentoring role.
