What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
one of the best things i love about tutoring comes from the sheer satisfaction you get when a student not only realizes how to do a question, but also understands the questions overall concept. to explain a question's concpet to a student and watch them solve a different question is absolutely brilliant regardless of whether they get it wrong, since they show the willingness to learn a new skill or concept, and its simple habits like this which allow them progress onto achieving bigger academic goals,
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
as a tutor, I am able to adapt to all different learning styles of my students. i am also able to distinguish between the learning habits of different students, and efficiently apply a unique teaching method to each of my students. i use simple examples each student can relate to, to get a concept across to them, and if that doesn't work, i am able to start at the basics and work my way up until a student understand a concept. my teaching method is built on patience and calmness, a skill which i have embedded into my working habits for years.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
for a student to understand a question is one thing, but a student to understand a whole concept and comfortably execute in a timed environment, is a tutored job done. in order to progress to this step, a tutor must always adapt their teaching methods to the way which a student prefers comfortably. maths problems can be solved in more then one way, and one of the most essential things a tutor can do for their student is to identify the way a student approaches a problem and to help them build upon that way in the most efficient way possible.
