What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the 'breakthrough' of it all, as is there truly a more incredible feeling than when a concept that one found so daunting finally clicks. So watching students realise that what was so troubling before they can now do without a second thought is what I would consider the most enjoyable aspect of tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my greatest strengths as a tutor are my patience and creativity. As I understand that not everyone can or should be expected to learn the same way, altering how I approach the various concepts to students to ensure that they learn has been a vital skill I have acquired. Patience is paramount when it comes to being a tutor. Although it can be frustrating when they don't seem to understand, staying calm and figuring out a more optimal approach is necessary.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to help them see that the subject isn't as challenging as presented in school, as well as create a safe space to share all their struggles with the subject without fear of ridicule in the classroom.
