What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
When you work one-on-one with a student – usually ones who lack confidence in their ability to succeed in that subject - and working at their pace to become successful in that subject and having the confidence to have a go at any problem given to them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
A belief that my students can succeed, use whatever methods have been taught to them by their teacher so that I am seen as working with their regular teacher and work with them at their pace encouraging them in their work
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Work one-on-one with a student at their pace to become successful in that subject and having the confidence to have a go at any problem given to them which ideally they can transfer to any subject or situation and be successful in all areas of their lives.

Gwilyn was very excited to get 15/20 for his assignment so we were able to confirm his progress over the last year. Then looked at rates of change and average rates of change ready for the next assessment in the last week of school
Only to come down from his high for IA1 and focus on the next one in two weeks time, however not an unexpected problem!

Began going over the revision sheet with log laws equations, scales and graphs, differentiation for logs, exponentials and trig - particularly chain rules. Gwilyn was progressing quite well, but we scheduled another section to go over the rest
Going well, just need to make sure he always has a go at every problem and attempt to get some marks in each!
