What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing my students’ reaction when they improve their marks and/or talk about what they’re learning and share their ideas. I like to see them develop and boost their confidence which can be qualitatitively measured through their passion and love for the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a friendly and personable individual who is eager to cater for all students’ needs. I once had a student who was really struggling as an arithmetic and found that she was a visual learner. I was able to cater for her by providing visual aids to go through the math problems. To the best of my ability, I like to explain why we got the result rather than just how we are meant to solve a math problem. For instance, theen learning the areas of 2D shapes, I like to explain why we get the area of a triangle rather than just giving them the formula.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is encouragement and support. It is important to develop the mutual trust so that my student can comfortably share with me what their struggling with or even what they’re excelling at so we can keep progressing forward.
