What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the process of learning. Sharing knowledge and helping students understand concepts and enabling them to apply these concepts is a positive experience. Another aspect of tutoring is, building the confidence of the learner and fostering the love for continuous learning. I achieve this through creating a fun and interactive learning environment. I enjoy this interaction with young minds and feel amazed by their fresh thinking and ideas.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a patient and composed person. This helps me build the student's confidence to attempt learning and build on their existing knowledge. I am a good communicator and easily establish a rapport with people of all ages. My strength is in mathematics and believe that this will help me clearly communicate the underlying STEM concepts. I have built a good model for myself to assess my learning progress and areas of improvement. I will be able to pass on these methods to students which will grow them as effective learners in the long term.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

1. Assess and understand the current strengths and areas of difficulty of the student. 2. Set up a time table (plan) which agrees with the student's schedule. 3. Cover and revise the core concepts which are pre-requisites for the understanding of the current curriculum. 4. Work through the lessons one-by-one and test understanding through simple quiz questions. 5. Help the student to identify the next learning step, teaching the techniques to self plan and study.
