English: Student sounds words out prior to spelling which has improved her spelling abilities significantly Maths: Student is able to confidently answer exam - like questions independently and is able to justify their answer with relevant calculations when asked

Maths: Student needs to consistently use the P/P strategy to limit making careless errors in addition word problems. Additionally, student needs to increase confidence by doing a greater number of practice questions at home to stop second guessing their math abilities.

Student portrayed excellent understanding of the concept after it was taught and was able to perform independent calculations. Student has an excellent attitude towards learning new topics with laser sharp focus in a tutoring session allowing her to grasp new and harder concepts with ease.

Student needs to work on using P/P learning strategy to avoid careless errors when solving multi step, ratio questions.

English: Spelling has much improved from the first lesson and student has started using "sounding out" techniques to correctly spell big words. Maths: Strong mental math skills for simple calculations - when adding and subtracting

Maths - attitude towards completing work needs to change - student needs to complete all homework given to the best of their ability - neatly - in their book so tutor can provide accurate feedback.

Student performed well in the yearly exam and was able to talk through her solutions whilst justifying the calculations she performed to solve the questions. She has begun to use the P/P learning strategy which helped her solve multi step questions and thus was able to swiftly approach challenging questions with little support.

A little confidence boost needed to stop student from second guessing het answers and needs to revise the content taught to her every week so she can remember the concepts taught to her. It was difficult for her to understand ratios however her attitude towards learning the new topic was exceptional.
