What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because I'm actually helping someone rather than being in something like a retail job. I can use my own experience by providing tips and information to the student that I wish I would've known throughout my school years. Additionally, I'm also interested in improving my teaching skills and retaining some of my knowledge in other subjects.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My dedication to another person, meaning that because the student partially relies on me for their education, I will do my absolute best to help them succeed. Another strength of mine would be patience, not every student is a quick learner, which can be a reason for receiving tutoring. I would also consider my personality as a strength, as especially with children, I find in my experience with 1-on-1 tutoring my comfortability around the tutor significantly impacts my learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As I mentioned previously, not every student is a quick learner, which is why patience is important when tutoring somebody. Rather than getting impatient and forcing the student to try and understand a concept, find a different method of conveying the concept that they may better understand. Furthermore, while patience is important, the student will most likely only have a limited amount of time to learn the concept, so it's also crucial to set the student up with a plan so they can improve their skills in their own time.
