What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have a passion for multiple things. Whether it be music, problem solving, or engineering, it brings me joy to share this with others and help them achieve what they want.
Tutoring is a refining experience; regardless of my knowledge, other life skills such as communication and leadership are honed. I believe these skills to be essential in life and it is a great opportunity to practice and hone them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Growing up in diverse cultures and education systems, I have a deep understanding of different learning styles and methods. I do not focus on simple repetition but rather make sure the students can grasp the concepts.
Since I have worked in both research and in the field with publications as well, I am grounded with strong fundamentals of rigorous writing skills and mathematics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors are not parents, nor are they teachers. There is only so much a tutor can do for a student, but I believe it can be one of the most impactful. The purpose of a tutor is to help students regain their confidence in academia and be able to stand up on their own. I believe that a lot of academics are stuck on cramming methods and lecture based education, which is not for everyone. I want to help students in that environment to be able to enjoy studying again and find their ground so they can push forward on their own again.
