What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

During my time informally tutoring my peers, I found that there was a feeling of accomplishment knowing that I was able to teach someone else something that I knew, and at the same time, further my own understanding on the topic.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I feel that my persistence towards making sure that a student learns what I’m teaching is one of my strengths. Further, by assisting several students in various subjects, I also believe that my ability to recognise the differences in pace and method that each student learns is one of my strengths.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my opinion, the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to make them feel confident in their knowledge and understanding of a topic. Based on my personal experiences, a lack of confidence leads to doubt in one’s own capabilities, and hence, diminishes one’s potential. As such, I strongly believe that a tutor must enable their students to feel confident in themselves to achieve success.
