What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the students I tutor understand things more thoroughly. It gives me a sense of relief when students are able to comprehend information that they previously struggled to understand as it alleviates stress on their behalf - this brings me a lot of satisfaction.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I will aim to ensure that the student has understood everything clearly before continuing further. I think I am someone who is not very intimidating and am able to communicate effectively with people. I believe that communicating effectively is a very strong and important trait that a tutor can bring forward to their peers and students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a student who has had tutors in the past, I think that the most important thing that a tutor can do for their student is to be there for them when they need help and assistance. Time is obviously very valuable, but I realised that I appreciated those tutors who went above and beyond to ensure that I received the help that I needed.
Further, having full engagement with a student when you're tutoring them is very important because a good tutor is one that not only knows their content well, but also understands their student properly.
