I like helping people and working with kids, and coaching has been a great way to do that. I find it so satisfying to help kids learn something, and this job would would suit me well.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a good sense of humour, and I know from personal experience it's much easier to be engaged with learning if the students are having fun while doing it. It makes the lessons more memorable, and shows that learning should be fun and interesting at the same time. I'm also very patient, as I would much rather spend more time on a particular topic or skill and ensure they learn it in a way that works for them rather than race through content.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Make the learning as engaging and personally tailored as possible. Everybody learns differently, so teaching a room of kids the exact same way and expecting everybody to understand is unrealistic. Making the lessons fun makes them memorable, and turning the rules into a game that they enjoy playing should be every tutor's primary concern. The kids might not use the specific information they learn in school after school, but teaching them to teach themselves new topics is a skill that everybody should have, and the core lesson I intend to impart on them.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
