What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring offers a unique and individualized learning experience that allows students to find confidence in their academic ability, tailoring to student requirements to provide aid in their studies. Through my experience of tuition, and receiving proper assistance in areas of weakness, students are able to gain confidence in their academic potential, thus improving their overall enjoyment in the action of studying. This builds a foundation which allows students to further build their study habits, eventually curating a routine best suited for them which will carry on in their future endeavors.

I am a responsible, patient and organized individual with exceptional communication skills which have been honed through successful volunteering and academic projects. I am able to quickly and efficiently identify student weaknesses, and provide suitable methods that allow for easy understanding and future application. As a tutor, I believe that excellent communication is key in building a genuine relationship between tutor and student. This will allow the student to comfortably express their academic concerns which will in turn allow tutors to best curate methods for student improvement.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors must have a vast expanse of knowledge in their area of teaching to allow for effective feedback and criticism for their students. Such knowledge should be utilized to improve the student’s academic abilities, thus forming a sense of respect within the relationship. As such, tutors should be able to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere that will allow students to express their academic concerns and weaknesses. We must be able to put into consideration student learning capabilities, to best curate teaching methods that will quickly and efficiently improve academic performance.
