What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In my recent experience, I have enjoyed building strong relationships with children, allowing a mutual trust to form to enable the child to feel comfortable and available to learn. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to inspire children to become self motivated learners, to reach their individual goals and targets.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have strong communication skills which allows great rapport with not only children, but their parents too. I have found having great two-side communication with the parents benefits the child’s learning, as well as the parent’s trust in me. I am adaptable with my lessons, and will constantly use formative assessment to gage how the child is responding to the lesson, and adapt accordingly. I have a passion for teaching, and a willingness to learn and improve to best benefit the child’s learning and experience.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe an important part of tutoring is to ensure I really get to know the children individually to understand how I can best tailor the sessions to their individual needs, and the best chance of success. It is important to create lessons that inspire children to become self motivated learners, sparking imagination through bringing learning to life. Furthermore, it is important to be reflective as a tutor, to ensure I can continuously improve my teaching to most benefit the child.
