My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths lie in my strong communication skills and natural empathy, which allow me to understand the problems faced by students and help them to overcome them by encouraging them to think for themselves. My recent experience in high school is also one of my strengths because I have recently experienced all the same problems that young students face, and so I know a variety of solutions for tackling them. Coupled with my strong academic results (ATAR of 99.95) I believe my combination of knowledge and recent experience which makes me a successful tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must help a student develop their knowledge of a subject whilst providing them with the tools to become an independent, inquiring learner so that they can eventually succeed independently. I believe the most important thing is for a tutor to help students ask the right questions in their learning journey, rather than just helping them find the answers. However, it is also important that a tutor provides resources which are tailored to a student's needs: either further developing their knowledge of a subject by challenging them, or helping them to consolidate it.
