What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing that I enjoy the most about tutoring is the learning process. I do not believe that tutoring is the process of simply "teaching" for the tutor and "learning" for the students. Rather, it is the process of learning together, in which not only does the student learn from the tutor, but the tutor learns from the student. I feel a sense of achievement when a student is able to understand the material and enjoy the process of learning as a result.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my biggest strengths as a tutor are patience and my strong communication skills. It is critical that a tutor remain patient and calm when the student may not be progressing as quickly as the tutor would like, and explain the material to the student as many times, and in as many ways, as required for students to gain an understanding. I believe that my previous work experience as well as teaching experience has prepared me well for tutoring any underachieving students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things that a tutor can do for a student, in my opinion, are motivating the students to learn on their own as well as arming them with the tools and study skills.
The motivation to learn is critical, since the tutor can teach the material, but at the end of the day, it is the student who has to master it. Without such intrinsic motivation, a student will find it difficult to master the material. Once motivated, students need to be armed with the skills to continue learning so that they can feel a sense of achievement, and thus stay motivated.

Mistakes are made when he does not read the questions thoroughly or goes through things in his head. Harry should get in the habit of showing his work on paper rather than verbally thinking out loud. I would like him to be a bit more methodical in his problem-solving approach, even if that takes more time.
