What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy the most about tutoring are the connections I make with students and being able to guide them through their learning journey. Learning more about them and their perspectives have broadened my perspective and knowledge in aspects outside of education. Being able to explain theory and guide them through questions further consolidates my understanding and helps improve and foster my communication skills which have improved drastically. Additionally, being able to witness a student's growth throughout the year and seeing them achieve commendable results is a rewarding experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths would be my communication skills and my adaptability to meet students requirements. I have high flexibility with my lessons so I am able to cater to what the student desires and have enough time to cover all aspects I aim to go over during class. I have a high amount of patience and am able to cover either a large amount of content in small time frames or dedicate a lot of time for small amounts of content such that the student will be able to effectively grasp each concept. I am always able to ensure my student's are satisfied with each lesson they attend.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
What I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student are listening to a students needs, ensuring consistent progress is made, allowing the student to feel comfortable and safe during lessons as well as being passionate about the subject I am teaching. A combination of all these factors fosters a positive learning environment which encourages the student to learn and achieve success. Additionally, to foster friendly and open communication to help motivate and encourage students.
