What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The one thing i truly enjoy most about tutoring is helping students realise their potential and helping them to achieve their goals. This truly brings a smile on my face, as helping a person understand their potential and when they finally achieve their goals is a big achievement for me as tutor. This is because by doing so, i will be able to understand that i have done them fair justice and helped them out to the best of my ability. Also, in doing so, watching my students understand something brings great happiness to me as i feel that i have been able to help them to clear their doubts.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My major strengths i believe are patience, well-organised and friendly. I believe these three qualities are vital as students need a tutor who is willing to explain a concept to them several times, without getting irritated until they understand. I believe i am well-organised because from past experiences, i have always prepared ahead of the lesson and always had extra work that might help the students improve. I think being friendly is my most important strength as i make sure from lesson 1 i develop a comfortable relationship with my student so they aren't afraid to approach me at any time.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Always be prepared ahead of lessons, which means to read prior to the lesson and make sure you are aware of what you will be doing that lesson. Also, prepare extra material for the student to work on to make sure they have developed a concrete understanding of the concepts. Tutors should always be approachable and easily contactable, this means that even if the student wants to contact you outside of tutoring hours, they should be able to do so and you should be willing to help them resolve their queries.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
