What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy how tutoring is a learning experience for both sides. While I am teaching kids how to succeed in school, I also have the opportunity to learn from the students. The experience I receive through tutoring equips me with teaching skills to use in the future.

I have worked with children in recreational settings before as a camp counselor, and am able to connect with students well. I consider myself an enthusiastic person, which can help students stay engaged and interested in topics they may find difficult or boring.

As a tutor, I believe in catering to the students needs. Different students have different learning styles, so it is important to adapt my teaching styles to the individual. I also think compassion and understanding are necessary traits for tutors. Every student learns at different paces, and can grasp certain topics quicker than others. Patience is key in these situations so that students can learn at the right speed for them.
