What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
During my school years, tutoring had always been such an immense help in maintaining my academics. A productive hour well-spent during tutoring allowed for time at school to be better utilised which then gave me more spare time to do things that I actually enjoyed doing. I feel like, knowing all this so intimately well from the student's perspective will make tutoring such a rewarding job for me, which I find to be very important for my own enjoyment. And of course, the flexibility of the job is very appealing.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Growing up, I had always been the friend that my peers would approach when they needed help, with Maths especially. Through those experiences, I realise that I often endeavour to place myself in their position in order to find ways to simplify certain concepts and aid their comprehension. I'm also quite adamant about ensuring that they're left satisfied with my explanation.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should be able to actively listen to their students and slightly adapt the lessons in accordance to their understanding - targeting the areas that they struggle with the most. This is what distinguished the tutors for me and is what I looked for the most when picking the right tutor, especially during VCE.

the way she works through worded question. has a hard time doing them without assistance.
