What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I always had a passion for helping my peers throughout my schooling. I enjoyed finding new ways to approach problems in a way which was comprehensible and simple. I find it extremely rewarding to see that I can help a student to achieve academic milestones that they would never have thought possible.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my own passion for learning and discovering new things would be a great strength in my abilities as a tutor. I also believe that my patience and willingness to cover topics over and over until they are understood is an essential part of my tutoring tool kit. I take care to create personal connections with each of my students and develop personal plans tailored to each of their learning styles. I am open-minded, flexible and very eager to help.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor can be really influential for each student they instruct. Not only do they have a significant impact on the learning outcomes for the student, but also on their passions and interests. In my experience, having a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher can foster a deep affection for a learning area or subject. For example, the care and patience my Year 7 maths teacher took with my class helped develop a keen, lifelong interest in maths for myself. Therefore I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is nurture their passion for learning.
