What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I genuinely enjoy and take pleasure from math and I don’t want it to cause stress for any student. I want everyone to have to opportunity to not only do their best, but to not be strained in the process. I want kids to feel comfortable asking for help when needed and I like tutoring because I want to make all of it possible for them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that my strengths as a tutor include my patience, my enthusiasm for learning, my ability to communicate with children as a seventeen year old and the fact that I am currently in school. I gain strength as a tutor from my struggles with ADHD as I am able to deeply understand how it is for children who struggle to learn in an academic environment and can help them with the specifics.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be patient. I believe that if the tutor isn’t patient with the student, the relationship will not work. Many times children need tutors because of a lack of teacher patience when teaching at school, and so I make sure to take the time at each step to confirm the student’s understanding and comfortability.
