What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students gain confidence in subjects they struggle with, and to be able to reduce the stress and panic surrounding exams and assessments. I also enjoy that it keeps my own skills sharp!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my greatest strength is my approachability and flexibility. I do well working with students who struggle with maths and who haven't really had the chance to feel like they've done a good job with the subject before. I like to make them feel like they can accomplish anything,

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is to gain a core understanding of the topic, and not just a surface level rote learning of how to solve problems. It's also important to have an understanding of each student and to recognise when to push them and when they've hit a wall (mentally).
