What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In terms of tutoring, I enjoy helping others. Seeing students succeed as I play an integral role definitely is something that is quite rewarding. My passion is developed as I share my knowledge about particular subjects and my own personal growth is also developed as I need to have patience and solid communication skills. Also, the flexibility of the days that I want to tutor is something that lures me in as I have more freedom as I do not need to stick to a fixed schedule.

My strengths as a tutor include how I consider myself to be moderately proficient in the subjects that I have opted to teach, how I am adaptive to each student's needs, how I can present constructive feedback while providing consistent support to students if they need it. These qualities would make me a well-rounded tutor who can have the potential to alter students' learning.

The most important things that a tutor can do is to identify the students' needs to tailor my approach to assist them to reach their goals and create a personalised plan based off that. They should be able to provide clear explanations for students to understand problems and how to solve them effectively, while offering feedback on the students' progress with time. A tutor should also encourage independent learning, to help the student succeed in their current courses and future academic and professional pursuits.
