What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working with children, and each age brings its own challenges and gifts. The ability to watch students enjoy the content they learn is one of the most rewarding feelings and I feel so privileged every time I am able to make a true difference to their lives, even at such a young age.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think the best tutors, particularly in primary years, are the ones that not only teach the content but the best way to learn it. That is what I believe to be my strength: my structure and organisation in class builds discipline for the students in a way that is not overbearing. I also prioritise listening to their needs and taking small steps towards a bigger goal.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor is there to build confidence, in my opinion. Regardless of the comments of parents, teachers, siblings, a tutor should believe in their students and empower them to perform at the highest level capable. That is what the best tutors achieved for me, and what I continue to do for my own students today.
