What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I believe that no student is bad at academics if they consistently put in honest effort. Therefore I truly enjoy tutoring as I see it as a way of helping others to the best of my abilities. I also feel a sense of responsibility when tutoring so I feel glad seeing a student perform well.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Enthusiasm, immense patience, and commitment. The ability to connect various ideas and concepts across different topics in any given subject by strengthening fundamental understanding. From my experience as a tutor, I have developed the skill to explain a concept in different ways that is best fit to a student's understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a tutor, rather than just explaining the content of a topic, I believe that it is more to understand the doubts a student may have. If the student does not bring up any doubts, the tutor must then slowly check their understanding of the topic bit by bit by prompting questions frequently. Another thing to keep in mind is to never give the answer to any question immediately. Instead slowly nudge them towards the answer with their existing knowledge while clearing up any uncertainties they may have as it builds confidence in themselves to answer questions.
