What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to help students find effective approaches or strategies that can help them properly grasp the fundamentals of a subject and improve their performance on exams. I believe once a student finds their own method that works for them, they can develop skills that enable them to effectively apply their knowledge in examinations.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient and empathetic, so if a student is really struggling with a particular type of question, I would take the time to slowly go through explanations with students so that they can better understand the working out and processes to get to an answer. As a university student, I have been in their shoes so I empathise with the frustration that they may feel when they are experiencing difficulties in understanding a concept in a subject. I also have great interpersonal skills and I enjoy forming relationships with people.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most beneficial thing a tutor can do for a student is make them feel more positively about a subject so they are more motivated when studying and do not feel discouraged. I think that when students form a positive attitude to a subject, they are more likely to want to learn and enhance their skills, which will help them improve grades on overall performance.
