What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have been passionate about mathematics from a young age and all throughout high school. Mathematics education and tutoring create opportunities for me to help people in their HSC journey. My tutoring fulfilment comes from being able to help students who share the same passion as me and can then use that knowledge to create more opportunities in the future, whether it is through the preservation of the knowledge or using the skill in professional industries.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a recent graduate who sat the HSC in 2024, my experience in this journey allows me to understand the students' needs better. My in-depth knowledge of the NSW maths curriculum on all levels makes me a good fit as a maths tutor. I foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that helps students feel comfortable asking questions and making the most out of lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing for a tutor is to genuinely care about the student. When a student feels supported and encouraged, they're more likely to stay motivated and engaged. It’s not just about explaining concepts—it’s about building confidence, helping them develop problem-solving skills, and making sure they feel comfortable asking questions. Every student learns differently, so adapting to their needs and finding the best approach for them is extremely important.

Structure lesson better to maximise efficiency since its the first lesson, only covered some new content, mostly revision. Might need to learn faster since school looks to be a bit behind in terms of content.
