What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Commercially and informally, I have a tutoring experience of 5 years during my under-graduation in Chemical Engineering. From there, I would like to highlight few points which I enjoyed most about tutoring- 1. Knowledge sharing and helping students to grasp new concepts and make progress academically. 2. Helping students to explore their passion for a subject, sparking interest and curiosity. 3. Assisting in students skill development (communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.) 4. Tutoring is a two-way learning experience. I learnt a lot from my students.

The most important things a tutor can do for a student are- 1. Set clear goals to and achievable learning objectives. 2. Identify challenges that students are facing and address these challenges with patience and encouragement. 3. Encourage critical thinking. 4. Provide constructive feedback and share alternative method of solving. 5. Use engaging and dynamic teaching methods. 6. promote self-confidence, time management skills, self-empowerment, growth mindset and team skills. 7. Exploring potential of individual and augment possibilities. 8. Be patient, supportive and approachable.
