It's truly incredible the way in which one explanation creates that "aha" moment whereas another creates confusion. Our service is all about finding you the "right" tutor, not the "best" tutor. A local Westbrook English tutor will not only connect well with your child but they will be able to offer explanations in such a manner that your child just "gets it". This is what we do.
Our offer is quite simple. We will find you an English tutor in Westbrook. They will come to your home at a time of your choosing. They will come as often or as little as you decide. They will tailor the lessons to your child's specific needs. Best of all, if you think the tutor is not the "right" fit, we'll organise another tutor free of charge.
We want you to be a raving fan of your tutor. That's our Good-Fit guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Mark adapted well to some strategies introduced in the first 4 sessions and appreciates the value of back checking, putting pen to paper, note taking and formatting. unafraid to ask questions and seek help.
Bethany is very attentive during our classes and is always asking questions with anything that she does not understand, which is really good! However, one of my main concerns is that she is not completing enough homework each week. I understand that the homework may take some time as she struggles with the basics, (addition, subtraction, etc.), however it is important that she does it in order to improve her test results and to be more confident in maths. I will also continue revising the basics to help her.
There are small concerns in a few basic fundamental mathematical knowledge that can be worked on for massive improvements. Fluency in times tables, understanding symbols or mathematical terminology and order of operations would assist in time management in examinations as well as better understanding of questions and how to answer them.
