Physics is such a vast area, it's easy to get lost. While a lot of the content can be simply memorised, which many students still do, physics also requires higher-order thinking. Understanding the scientific method isn't a small task. All of these demands in a short period of time and with exams coming closer and closer, no wonder students shy away from science subjects. The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Madeline has exceptional note-taking habits, however, she tends to forget to mark and check her work. We have been working on extending her understanding of certain concepts and to backcheck her work. We've been talking aloud when approaching questions in our sessions to strengthen her understanding and identify problem areas and this has helped her understanding also. I've tried to emphasize with her that it's okay for her to be wrong as long as she attempts the questions.
Ana struggled with finding the motivation to do her exam revision, but was willing to work hard during sessions. Alone she seems to really struggle with simply getting started - this is very typical of someone who is struggling with the symptoms of depression. I'll continue to keep in touch with Ana between sessions and try and provide that one-on-one support when I can't sit with her to do the maths. She has had a really tough year in many ways and I hope that she will find next year an improvement.
She easily gets distracted but I shall always do my best we stay on track as much as possible . Her maths foundation is a bit shaky but I am very confident she will improve with more lessons

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with Ezy Math, it's been both a great learning and worthwhile experience for me. Outstanding organisation and a great company to work for!
As an Ezy Math tutor, I was especially confident that I could bring positive results to my students. This was because they gave me a great teaching framework to work within, with which I could incorporate my own methods. My greatest accomplishments working with Ezy Math were without doubt the moments when my students were able to overcome certain learning difficulties to produce excellent results. This was often achievable through a simple reorganisation of their work habits and thinking processes. I would highly recommend Ezy Math tutoring to prospective tutors or clients.
Working for Ezy Math Tutoring was different than I thought it would be. I had tutored privately before and I thought it would be pretty much the same deal, but its really not. Working for Ezy Math was great because, every fortnight I was presented with new ideas or stratergies to help my students and there was always the support and room for feedback in every aspect of the Job. When I applied for the job, I was tossing up the idea of maybe becoming a teacher sometime in my career, and working for Ezy Math has made that decision a lot easier. Tutoring is really one of the most rewarding jobs I can imagine doing, as you can literally see the kids begin to get confident and start to surprise themselves with what they know. I would recommend Ezy Math Tutoring as a very well conducted and professional organisation. I feel that working for Ezy Math was a great experience.
