Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests. Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning. Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Acton biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Acton. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Cordelia has good self direction with work and is aware of areas she need help with. She is good at talking through her own thinking and working through the problem both aloud and on paper. She is also proactive in writing down key elements in each subject. She is too quick to assume she doesn't understand the problem at hand, even if prior she displayed an understanding.
Micheal has a really good attitude towards the tutoring sessions. we are working on his overall attitude towards maths and that he can do maths. Micheal puts in lots of effort and is trying really hard to understand the concepts Work habits could be improved with remembering to back check and develop the skills.
Mathematics is definitely a problem area. She has a wonderful attitude towards it but we will probably need to make sure that she starts revising her maths for a few minutes every day. For example, just a worksheet from a NAPLAN book a night would help her see great improvements. She is quite behind in maths, I think the major thing is she is mixing up a few concepts and so struggles to identify what method she needs to use when the problem arises.
Deanna has been an amazing tutor! I highly recommend her!! She has helped me, given me great tips and advice and is very supportive :)
Gemma was an excellent maths tutor for my daughter. She was prompt, friendly and informative. She helped my daughter understand many principles she was struggling with.
Deepti has a kind and patience method of explaining things to our daughter who has shown a steady improvement in her Maths ability since beginning her sessions. Deepti has instilled a new confidence in our daughter which has been a great comfort to us. We would recommend Deepti's services to anyone
