Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

This is exactly when they can benefit from guided learning the most.
We work with great physics tutors in Acton who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.
Sounds good so far? We can start looking for a local physics tutor in Acton right away!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Keane's continues to talk aloud as he is working out maths problems. Upon getting a question wrong, Keane uses back checking in order to work out what he's done wrong and then makes the appropriate corrections, with guidance. Keane continues to seek understanding and asks questions when he doesn't know what to do or doesn't understand a specific concept.
Amani has a great attitude and she is really willing to learn. I am really impressed with Amani's improvement and she is definitely keen to do better. A little more effort when it comes for asking help from her teacher would help. Amani needs to make sure she asks the teacher for help when she needs it.
Encountered a few weaknesses in algebra, especially simultaneous equations. They were quickly covered, and will be revised on in the future. Silly mistakes are still being dealt with. Also, a small few areas where past learning were weak. They're recovered quickly.
Padma and Pearl have made a good connection and are working well together. She arrives on time, is very focussed and very good at engaging Pearl. Padma also really knows her maths and I think this has helped pearl feel more confident about doing math.
Stephanie is working out well and is supporting Harrison in a way that is having an impact. She is great and happy to work with her.
I think that things are going well- we only had one session so far but Jake seems great and does a great job of explaining things to her. I will definitely comment further once we get a bit further down the line, but happy so far!
