For students doing physics, demands quickly become complex. While real-life problems tend to be hard to comprehend, it's also when students depend on logical thinking the most.
It's pretty straightforward, to master a subject, students need to be challenged and that means struggling from time to time.
As your child moves up the curriculum you might have already thought about offering additional support. You might have even looked for physics tutoring in Ashby or somewhere close so you can easily fit it into your busy schedule. But you might have also been unsure what to look for.
This is what we do best. This is where we can help.
All we need is to have a chat with you and we can start looking for a suitable tutor who can support your child's academic progress.
Every student learns in their own way and at their own specific pace. Once we know a little bit more about the student we can find a great tutor who'd really click with your child.
Once you reach out to us we can allocate a local Ashby physics tutor within a day or two. They set up the first lesson whenever you and your child can make it.
If you like the tutor's approach you keep working with them. You are not completely happy with the match? No worries, it happens sometimes. We consider it a trial lesson and find a better match.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I am introducing and encouraging Emily to use the concept of putting pen to paper as she works through problems to organise her thoughts. She is taking this on board and I will continue to emphasise it. I am also working on getting a conversation flowing so that she can talk through what she is thinking with me - this helps me to know where she is getting stuck, and also helps her to organise her thoughts. I model this by talking through my approaches in some detail while we are doing examples.
Harry is becoming more and more enthused about learning. I have noticed a positive change in his attitude, especially towards times tables. Harry is trying hard to complete any revision that I set, and preparing well for exams. Harry still needs to improve aspects of his work habits such as doing his math homework regularly and proactively seeking help or extra work.
Just needs more practice in exam type situations. Making sure that Martin does the chapter reviews for each chapter that is studied and that when attempting the chapter reviews that he times himself. By doing so, he is able to make judgement on his pace and whether he needs to improve it. n/a
Kerry helped Ella with her confidence and she did really well with her math test. Her scores have been going up.
Jaz and Emily seem to be connecting well and we are happy with how things are progressing to date.
John has been an amazing tutor for my son. John restored my son's confidence in his ability to do maths and prepared him for Year 12 exams.I cannot recommend his work highly enough, as he did everything we asked of him and more.
