No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Ashby chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Ashby, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Priya's learning strategies are improving. She is starting to write down most of her working out and thinking, but is definitely encouraged to do this more often - as sometimes missing out steps may lead to confusion.
Vanessa's attitude is generally positive and she is receptive to our discussions. I feel that she looks forward to every meeting. Rarely do I feel that Vanessa is not paying attention when I'm explaining. I can see that she is always focused. Vanessa is always prepared during tuition. She sends to me questions that she needs help days before the session.
There are no major gaps in Carly's knowledge for the exams. One major focus should be ensuring that the remaining topics are learnt thoroughly given that there will be no tests for these topics. There are no major areas that need our attention, we now just need to focus on conquering the range of more complicated questions that may appear on exams.
Everything is great so far. Danica actually likes having a tutor. She was not keen on the idea at first but now she loves it and Lewis is great.
We have been using Ezy Math Tutoring now for around 18 months. We have found the tutors to be courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. The children have become more confident with Maths.
I found Ahmad a wonderful young man whom Kira really took to straight away and was so happy to finally start to understand Maths. He is a exceptional teacher.
