Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests.
Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Ashford biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Ashford. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Aryan seems to have continuous silly mistakes with his working out. From one step of working out to the next, there seems to be small things he misses out on. Although it does no happen in every question he solves, this problem seems to happen quite often. For future problems, it would be great if Aryan could double check his work in order to reduce this silly mistake.
Hannah's attitude is as enthusiastic as ever! Hannah puts plenty of effort into her work during and between our classes - it is very much appreciated! Hannah's work habits are strong. She consistently completes her school and tutoring work!
While I mentioned he has gotten better at taking notes, this slows him down rather significantly in our sessions. He also reads out every single word of the exercises he does, and as he is not a very fast reader this also uses up a fair bit of time. My previous comments about him seeming sleepy or unfocused definitely seem to be affecting him. I've quoted him as saying "Look, I'm just not in it tonight" on the 21st, and he was noticeably sleepy the week after.
Very happy - Su is a very good tutor and we're very happy with the tutoring thus far.
We're very happy with Kritika. Ella has taken to her easily and is really enjoying the work. I'm feeling very optimistic.
After the last session Mia said she was happy with Sam and didn't want to change to anyone else. Sam is very bright and Mia will never be an advanced Maths student but they seem to have worked out how to communicate and that just builds her confidence so she doesn't see a difficult question and get overwhelmed. Sam is also very punctual and communicates well with us as well. Even the dog likes him now.
