Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local Bangholme biology tutors we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Bangholme, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Vivienne is excellent at actively engaging in discussions and analysing her own areas of weakness that she requests to structure sessions around. Due to her excellent format skills we have taken time to focus on theory-based note taking to gain a strong conceptual understanding before attempting questions
Kayla seems to be a little behind in Methods, so I would recommend she continues working through all her questions that her school assigns her as well letting me know how she is coping. Kayla has done well completing the homework I give her and it looks like she is doing well keeping up with the School's English Work. If possible, I'd ask Kayla to do a few maths questions every night and to email me any additional work she wants to do for English, to help her get individualised feedback.
For many concepts only minor tutoring is required, overall her understanding of mathematics seems quite alright. She does very well given a certain methodology (evidenced by her love of the quadratic formula for example haha) so we will now try to move away from method and towards a deeper understanding (towards what exactly the quadratic formula DOES for example, so she's not married to the method).
Patrick is a wonderful asset to your company. It pleases me so much that Patrick has a wonderful understanding of my Son capabilities with in only 5 lessons. Thank you for sending Patrick to us.
Mike has been great and very patient with Chelsea. Most importantly Chelsea is feeling comfortable with him and starting to open up and ask questions. He is also very organised and we are really happy.
We are very happy with Baily. She is very competent in math, but is also a very good teacher. She makes learning fun and the boys' relationship with her is developing well. As a person, Baily has a lovely manner about her, is very respectful, but confident.
