Even if they've started out well, tackled science in lower grades with a good attitude, even if they've made a switch to Year 11 Chemistry easily, more often than not students hit a wall when it comes to Year 12 chemistry. This is when they need all the support they can get.
If you've already thought about tutoring and are looking for someone local, a chemistry tutor in Bannockburn, we can help.
We are working with local tutors who can assist your child through high school chemistry. Whatever it is, be it going from inorganic to organic chemistry or simply being asked to understand experiments when they still don't have a grasp of the necessary basics. Tutoring may well be the best way to bridge the gap, especially when it's done right.
This is what we offer.
Conveniently, in your home or anywhere else, you choose the time and place. There are no hidden fees, just a simple hourly rate, and if the first lesson isn't what you've hoped for we won't charge you. Instead, we look for another chemistry tutor in Bannockburn who is a better match and more than happy to help.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Needs more improvement in: Self-questioning (Does not understand worded questions properly) Avoiding lazy thinking (Does not read questions properly) Back checking (Makes lots of silly mistakes) Improved in: Ok to be wrong (Asks for corrections and understanding in any problems) Confidence (Submits his answers once he is done to me for corrections)
Sylvia really absorbs the information I give her, which is a great attitude to have during tutoring. Sylvia puts in a lot of work and effort and does all the work I give her. Sylvia maintains consistent work habits.
Financial mathematics (credit an borrowing, annuities). Normal distribution and financial mathematics. Though in addition to this, I think Lara may find it useful to complete practice tests for topics under exam conditions in preparation for the HSC.
Georgie is really enjoying coaching with Gabrielle. She's already doing so much better in maths at school (her teacher has commented on the huge improvement at recent parent teacher conference!). Gabrielle is a real asset to your team. She's so polite, punctual, intelligent and just fantastic.
We're very happy with Shehara and Marco has started to build a bond with Shehara. Marco's making steady progress and we'd like to keep the Maths tutoring going.
Henry was very happy with Hayden's style of tutoring. He found him clear and concise in the way he explained methods, and was teaching him the same way his teacher is at school. Whilst I was listening in the background I could hear that Hayden was very encouraging towards Henry which I'm sure gave him some confidence to tackle the next equation. I know that Hayden will leave more and more homework going forward, he was keen to get to know Henry as a person, identify his strengths and weaknesses first.
