Are you looking for an English Tutor? We don't blame you! In an increasingly interconnected world written and verbal communication skills are more and more important. And, with the amount of information available out there, it is increasingly important to be able to read, comprehend, compare and evaluate written information.
These aren't skills useful only for achieving high grades in English, they are invaluable life skills with more real world relevance than ever before... but... it does all start at school, in English class.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
We've just changed the format of these so I can no longer check things off. Just speaking generally to Gabriel's application of these various learning strategies. There is an aversion of actually doing mathematical work. I think the best way for us to combat this is for him to have a specific work book just for tutoring. In this case, he will always have it at home and we can work on his note taking, at the same time as the other strategies listed here.
Good attitude towards learning, making improvements to attempt questions himself but still needs work and extra motivation. Good effort so far, didn't do one homework that was assigned, can get a bit lazy at times. Need to do more study on his own and follow up on past mistakes/area of weakness. Better organised this month, but still need to improve on his work habits such as note taking, organisation and his solution formatting.
I feel for Naomi getting her answers wrong takes a pretty big toll to her confidence and her enthusiasm levels to correct her answers. Knowing the basics, Naomi should learn all her times tables first, and then she will be ready to tackle division and long multiplication which are showing up in her exercise sheets.
I also wanted to say Matthew has been absolutely fantastic, he has a great manner and is very patient. Anja's maths has definitely improved. i suspect we will need a tutor again in the second half of next year hopefully Matthew is available then. I will certainly recommend your service to others. I also wanted to say thank you for all the fabulous resources you offer.
Jacinta is awesome! Grace has connected well with her, and even after 3 sessions we can see an improvement (in her methods and her confidence). Grace had Year 9 exams this week and felt better prepared. I can honestly say this has been the best investment I could have made for Grace!
I thought you would like to know that Matilda got the highest mark in her class for her end of year Math exam 83%. We were so thrilled and it gave her a huge confidence boost! I would like to thank you and Erin and we look forward to continuing her tutoring next year.
