What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Passing on my years of learning at school and university onto others, the generally flexible working hours and feeling you get when your mentee's or students succeed.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am understanding, flexible and patient and foster a culture of independence meaning I am there to help students with their work but not to do it for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor is not there to do a student's homework for them but rather to help them think and problem solve in new ways so that they can complete their work more effectively and be a more independent learner. Thus, a tutor can help by bringing with themselves a large amount of knowledge in the subject area(s) and by having a patient and understanding attitude. It's also important for tutors to offer help when a student requires further clarification or help with their work and should also try to nudge them in the right direction with their ideas.
