Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
he is leaning to back check - going over his work to see if there are any mistakes as well as noting that it is not only okay to be wrong, but he is able to correct it and make note for next time. Still asks lots of questions and seeks clarification which is great to see!
Attitude and effort are both good, not very energetic, but Elijah does give things a go with prompting, and takes initiative with regards to areas he wants to focus on during the class. Many silly mistakes could be avoided if Elijah put more care into checking his work, as well as writing a bit more neatly so that he does not copy down anything incorrectly.
Yeukai still has some struggles in bearing questions and probability from time to time but has shown a strong improvement in her understanding of probability. Errors still occur and further work on backchecking is needed, but this has shown improvement.
We are very happy with Simon. Ryan has taken to the tutoring really well. One on one has really helped as he cannot get distracted by other kids and Simon keeps him on his toes and listening attentively.
I would like to say that Miranda is an outstanding, caring and patient tutor. She has a gift for working with kids. She is a huge asset to your company and the ezymath family.
We are thrilled with Ross he is so knowledgeable and has a great rapport with James already. Very happy customers.
