Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local Beaconsfield biology tutors we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Beaconsfield, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I haven't had the time yet to explore all pf these learning strategies with Alex. However, I can confirm he has high intention to seeking understanding and avoiding lazy thinking. He also enjoys fairly good self-confidence which definitely needs to be augmented with more problem-solving and revision of all past topics for this year.
The student's attitude towards learning is 10/10, and she's really putting in a lot of effort on and off tutoring which I'm really happy to see. Her work habit is quite consistent, as she pays attention to what I say and do what I tell her to do and he's showing consistent improvement every lesson.
Pauline needs to make sure she puts work into understanding the types of questions that will be asked of her on the exam. During our tutoring lessons I can tell she understands the content, but she doesn't seem to be applying herself to that many practice questions to try and remember it.
I found Ahmad a wonderful young man whom Kira really took to straight away and was so happy to finally start to understand Maths. He is a exceptional teacher.
Darius is WONDERFUL. My husband said it is great hearing the tutor and Tom discussing the work going on. Looking forward to seeing the improvement in Tom's yearly report for maths.
We were extremely satisfied with our tutor. She helped Chantal immensely and since then Chantal has done very well in school. Her Naplan results came back today and they were above the National and her School marks. Ezy Math was very helpful and understanding and I have nothing but praise for the company.
