We've found that students often need both help with the content and guidance with study strategies in general. High school biology gives students a glimpse of a vast interconnected universe of life on Earth. It can be quite exciting, and in most cases, it's why students choose the subject in the first place. However, as tasks start to pile up, students tend to get overwhelmed.
With so much on their plate, they tend to fall back on simple, but also extremely limited study strategies. It might seem like a no-brainer - memorisation won't take you far, but that's exactly what students fall back on when they get lost.
When that happens, finding someone to guide them can make or break the school year, and that's exactly where we can help.
What we do is match you with a biology tutor in Beldon within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise a one-on-one lesson at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate, and the first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
We can start looking for the right biology tutor right now.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Zeke was great at talking aloud in our first lesson however his back checking and pen to paper was not as great but in the past few weeks he has improved these strategies significantly. they still need improving but he is getting there. He is starting to make less careless mistakes and always seems to have a positive mentality whenever tackling a problem even if the problem seems difficult. I have given him a few notes to copy and asked him to make specific notes on problems which he has.
Kaylee has a good attitude in class and is always willing to learn. She completes her homework and set tasks in the due time. She puts a lot of effort into learning maths, which is shown through her work.
Currently, Madeline is struggling on fractions starting from adding/subtracting fractions with different denominators. We are building up to this topic by going through converting improper to mixed fractions, simplifying fractions and what fractions represent through visual aid.
So far all is going well , Andrew is fantastic and easy to communicate with. We have had three sessions so far and this term he will be working on the next unit of work rather than just exam revision.
All seems to be going well with Jared. We are overseas at the moment so have put tutoring on hold. Griffin said he likes Jared and is keen to continue tutoring, he said Jared is incredibly smart and always takes time to explain to him. We were worried as Griff seemed to be really attached to Nick and couldn't believe you would have someone as good to replace him. Where do you find these amazing young men?
I know it is only early days but Harley and Owen seem to have '˜clicked'. They are working really well and not only is Harley's confidence growing but also his understanding of the maths chapters they have been studying has improved. I no longer have to hassle him to do his homework - always a bonus!
