There's a method to learning science and most students struggle to figure it out for themselves. It's hard staying motivated if you can't see the bigger picture and in most cases, students don't get that kind of support at school.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Ronan has opened up and is talking aloud now instead of thinking in his head and confusing himself. He is great at back checking and transferring pen to paper. Definitely can see him getting more confident and excited when he understands something that he previously had difficulties with.
He has a good attitude towards math. I believe he enjoys solving math problems and he's brave enough not to be disheartened by tough looking problems He works hard trying to solve problems he's familiar with but he gives up too easily when facing problems he cannot figure out at first glance. This is one area we're currently working on He does all the homeworks i provide him and enthusiastically attempts all the questions we work on in sessions
Some of the basics in the new concepts will need more practise more to be more comfortable using those ideas to solve questions. A new problem area that has creep lately is that occasionally he would read the question wrong. It happens both in the materials we go through and the exam papers.
The tutor provided was of a high standard and our daughter made clear progress with her maths as a result of the tutor's methods and style. Although there would certainly be some benefit to be gained from ongoing tutoring - chiefly providing maths extension opportunities - and we may return in the future for further tutoring, we are more than satisfied with how our daughter is doing and the level of confidence she has now attained.
Patrick is such a wonderful young man and he and Reece really work well together! I have also engaged your business for my daughter also.
Yes , I am very pleased with Ed. Early days and my daughter has been a little reticent and awkward about having a tutor however I am going to make her stick it out . I however, am very pleased with Ed and his approach with Olivia Look forward to seeing some results in the near future
