Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through HSC with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Berowra Waters to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Berowra Waters chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
For the month of November, Jacob has been learning basics and foundation of maths. This will help later on with more complex maths i.e. structured questions. He has learn and incorporate strategies such as pen to paper, back checking, note taking and double checking on answers.
Amber always completes all work as required and in lesson completes all work without issue. I have noticed a definite increase in the past couple of weeks which I think is a result of her new found motivation. She is extra determined to revise as necessary and engage her teachers to aid her in success.
Kyra struggles a bit with different problems that make use of the same maths skill or concept, to work them out. She needs to understand when to use various different skills and when not to use them. This may lead to lazy thinking, applying one maths skill to all different problems just because it fits one of those problems. However, this can be avoided by taking time to focus on each problem, one at a time.
I came to work with Ezymath because it looked like a reputable company and I was interested in tutoring maths. I feel overall like my time with my students has been a great improvement in their learning ability and my teaching ability. Ezymath was good to work with and also accommodating, I would recommend Ezymath to both other tutors and prospective clients.
Darren is very patient and kindly spoken and Julia is really enjoying her tutoring experience with him.
Melissa was wonderful & we look forward to seeing her again in a fortnight. She was so patient, encouraging, gentle & knowledgeable. Grace felt so special & clever afterwards she can't want to see her again.
