Fin is doing extremely well, and is beginning to apply many of the learning strategies taught, without being asked and reminded to do so. If he keeps up his focus and attitude Fin will have a much more easy time during his mathematic education.
Excellent attitude to learning something new! You put in the effort to studying more than I do and that's gonna pay out in the end. Your work habits however, try to do more timed tests if possible and avoid second guessing yourself. thinking logically and clearly is always best.
Moving away from counting with her fingers. Tayissa tends to count one by one with her fingers for problems. E.g. 28 + 28 Moving away from constant addition towards multiplication. E.g. 30 x 4 Tayissa will add 30 four times rather than multiplying. Still struggles with multiplication for 6, 7 and 8 times table
