Every parent wants to know their child's education is in good hands. Your child might rarely ask for help, or they might need a bit of a push here and there. Either way, once they need help it can get a bit overwhelming finding the right support. That goes double for science subjects. Physics is tricky - the demands are getting increasingly complex. That goes double for science subjects. Physics is tricky - the demands are getting increasingly complex. On top of that, you want to know that the person guiding your child through the content, is also someone your child can rely on.
Not all parents know what to look for in a tutor. Not all parents have the time.
That's where we can help.
We provide one-on-one physics tutoring in Blackwood. All we need is to have a chat so we can figure out what kind of support your child needs.
A good tutor observes how a student learns, offers encouragement and shows them how to stay on task. A good tutor also knows when to step back. That way, in the end, students not only get the grades they want, but they also become independent learners.
That is what the tutors we work with aim for - students standing on their own two feet.
So what's next?
Once you reach out to us we set up the first lesson with a local Blackwood physics tutor. You pay a simple hourly fee.
The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee to make sure you are completely happy with the match.
As simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Learning strategies pen-to-paper, note-taking, good corrections, and seeking understanding are all good. With prompting, talking aloud and self-questioning techniques are also being employed. Back-checking and confidence still need work, as careless mistakes are usually the cause of confusion and lead to Nadya not being able to complete a question.
Ray has a good understanding of mathematics and the topics taught to him in class. He has a good regard for the subject and the benefit of learning mathematics. I will send through his tutorial questions a few days ahead of our session so that Ray has a chance to try a few questions on his own and bring to my attention those which he really needs some clarification. Ray is attentive and ready to undertake all questions throughout the tutorial session
Basic Algebra (I hope to go through this with him in the term break) More complex division and fractions Just making sure he really focusses on the question, and answers it carefully to avoid silly mistakes.
Miah seems to be responding well to her tutoring sessions with Alex. She is feeling less conscious about her problems with maths - which is great.
Thanks for following up. Daniel has been fantastic and we appreciate his diligence.
The tutoring is going great! Brody really enjoys his time with Daryl and his grade has improved greatly. He got an A on his assessment today and the last time he spoke with his teacher his grade had increased from a D to a C.
